I retired nearly all of my "turbo products" just recently, selling almost everything I had created with private label and resale rights, because I wanted to FREE myself.

"Then why start over again with Internet Marketing?"

Well..

I got involved with Internet Marketing - back in 1997 - because I LOVED the concept of generating income on demand while wearing my pajamas. (You too, yes?)

I love that lifestyle. You may say I like the comfort of working from my home while simultaneously - and most importantly I'd say: - interacting with people. And I especially enjoy helping others to reach their goals in life, because we live only once, and it's good to reach out and help as many others along the way as we can.

In fact, I think that's why we're all here, is to help each other. Don't you agree? 

The Good and the Bad in Life are like boomerangs; they always return back to you.

The Good comes back as a beautiful present in your hands...

...and the Bad returns like a smack on the head - and it hurts.

Or you might think of the Good as piling up credits in an account which you get to spend later, and the Bad as a monster loan you have to pay back with stiff interest and penalties.

And that's my Cosmo theory. :-)

One of the main reasons that practically "forced" me to retire was a growing concern about people, about Internet Marketing per se and about Life in general.

You may say I am getting older and wiser, while others may claim I got silly - but facts speak for themselves, and those who can read the signs cannot pretend they are blind and/or deaf. 

And so right here and right now I am going to
utter the words that others fear to speak... 

Internet Marketing is not what it
used to be a decade ago.

Internet Marketing is not a vision anymore. It's become a business.

And when people do business without a vision, then it's no longer about the dream, but about the greed. Recent years have introduced me to a NEW Internet Marketing - this time not the virgin woman I loved in the past, but I dare say a prostitute who goes with anyone available - just for the money.

Internet Marketing should not be that way - it should NOT have grown up the way it did. I had to either change by adapting to the new mind set of Internet marketing and continue selling in the digital avenues by feeding "the whore" with clients - or forget those avenues and stick to my OWN path and my Cosmo theory - no matter what.

I preferred the latter - and "retired."

You see - apart from the lifestyle - I loved Internet Marketing because of the freedom that lifestyle gives.  

Yes, people changed the marketing
(Or did marketing change the people?)
But more importantly, I realized I made
myself a slave to my passion.

My passion has been to invent products that can make the life of marketers better, easier, more effective and productive.

Writing has always been my passion, too. But having to create more than 100 scripts and software applications, having to feed my memberships with ebooks, scripts, graphics, tweets, articles, blog posts, puzzles, templates, blog themes, third parties' products with rights, etc. each and every month (no matter what!) made me a servant of my own business.  

And so you can understand why I started liking my work life less and less.

Even with one of the best helpdesks online, most of the questions still landed on MY desk because I was still the ONLY person who knew exactly where the keys of my turbo empire were. And that had to stop. 

However, that journey taught me a lot.

I saw that not only have Internet Marketers and Internet Marketing changed while I was slaving away... but the PRODUCTS also changed their roles considerably...

There is a phenomenal "abundance" of products online today. You can easily acquire tons of products of every kind with any kind of rights for pennies. While this abundance is not negative by itself, it can indeed create a great deal of confusion and cause you to lose your way online.

And things are getting worse...

With so many products available with PLR today, combined with the laziness of marketers (or you could say the easiness of making money) by simply renaming products and selling them as is, there is not a safe way to distinguish today if a horse is indeed a horse or a mule... if you know what I mean.

It's almost a SCANDAL and nobody says anything about this today.

There have been times when I had to prove that I am not a "me-too copycat marketer" online by repeating many times that what I was offering was created from scratch and that my products were brand new and unique.  

People simply could not believe that one man could create so many products... either alone or with the support of a good team.

So yes, people and Internet Marketing itself have changed a great deal.

Life has changed too... and that aggravated my concerns.

Quite truly I had to explore success starting from ground zero. I worked my way through the ranks, experiencing first hand what it's like to be "on the top."

Only then did I realize that unnatural friendships are the rule online.

Was I so naive to believe the opposite? Hmm... I have been characterized as being too "emotional," and I have no idea what the heck an answer to this is, when friendship is the question.

So... while I believed that certain people were friends of mine, and thus I accommodated these friends with both my thinking and my business, a lesson I learned was how unscrupulous life can be. (Thankfully: This did not happen many times... only a few.) 

I consider myself lucky because I created my success with my own hands and the support of my people: subscribers, customers, affiliates, and fans.

Figuratively speaking, they are the ones who keep me 'alive' online today - and I do know that other aspiring marketers were not as lucky as me.

Lastly, I realized how short life can be, and that there is no time for experiments just to see who loves you and who does not. The safest way is to take care of yourself, your business and your customers - and to be yourself. Be consistent with what your own Cosmo theory says, and life will prove to you how right or wrong you are.

Also, the World today is becoming harder to live in. Governments break up, businesses fire people, and the economy is collapsing in many countries. Banks care only for preserving their status quo in society, lauding their superiority over governments and using you and me to pad their bottom lines.

The harsh reality is that banks care only about the money they can squeeze from the little guy, and care nothing about what happens to the little guy they've taken advantage of.

Sad things.... yes...

I would not have "retired" my way of thinking, acting and living if the situation was not THAT sad... and bad.

A quick look to the present and future of the people of the Internet Marketing, Internet Marketing itself and of Life:

I am sorry to say this, but there are no signs of any positive change that can bring hope dramatically back to our life - again.

You see...

Easy money will continue producing the so-called 'Gurus' and stars for a night or a moon phase or a year. Meanwhile, their actions will corrupt their students and their students will give birth to more abnormalities online.

Internet Marketing as such will eventually be regulated (if not already being stamped) by offline bureaucrats who have no idea what Internet Marketing is. But it does not sit well with them that some people make money online by selling "air," and so they will interfere where they can and as often as they can.

Even more important to them, they see the money that exists online as something that needs to be milked by the offline mechanism more effectively. They will want to take control of you, your business and your profits.

The changes coming will make selling online more difficult and that will affect consumers, too, aka. customers... aka. the bread and butter of Internet Marketers.  

Who shall survive?

I am not sure. The future will show. We are living in this evolution right now.

As for Life...

You cannot be sure anymore of what the next second in your life will bring. And this IS bad, indeed.

We live in the age of uncertainty.

They made us expect ANYTHING and perceive it as logical - no matter how crazy it is, because VALUES and ETHICS in life have either changed or have been completely extinguished today.

In a society where youth has no values, everything is possible - from seeing riots on the streets now and again to peacefully continue living our life self-imprisoned in our apartments by our apathy and/or our "who-cares" attitude - because as humans we have our limits.... and most humans easily give up hope and just follow what the masses do: Nothing.

But... 

I want to believe there IS some hope, indeed.

I still want to believe there is a light in the tunnel and indeed a CERTAIN way that can lead us hummas out of that dark tunnel.  

I have decided to continue being a sponsor
of positive thinking, of hope, and of values and ethics - at least for my people.

While evolution in Internet Marketing and also on this Planet might seem doomed, THANKFULLY the Internet can remain as the MEANS that allows you and me to reach each other, even if we live miles away.

Think about it...
